Mr. Mohammad Farhad Azimi Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan met with Mr. Askar Zhumagaliyev the Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry and Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Mr. Mohammad Hasham Saad the Counselor of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Republic of Kazakhstan accompanied Mr. Azimi in this meeting. First of all the Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan by welcoming Mr. Azimi, congratulated him on his mission in the Kazakhstan.

Afterwards, H.E. Ambassador of Afghanistan by appreciating Mr.  Zhumagaliyev called the relations of the two countries as friendly and brotherly. Mr. Azimi stated notwithstanding the fact that the two countries do not share boundaries with each other still Republic of Kazakhstan is in the priority of Afghanistan’s foreign policy. Additionally, Kazakhstan by being in the three main priorities of our foreign policy is considered as a strategic ally.

H.E. Ambassador of Afghanistan by conveying the message of H.E. the President and Chief  Executive of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to the Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan stating that Afghanistan is willing to work with Kazakhstan in different strategic sectors. To do so, the government of Afghanistan welcomes any initiative purposed by the government of Kazakhstan.

Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry of the Republic of Kazakhstan by emphasizing on friendly and brotherly relations of both nations and accepting issues emphasized by Mr. Azimi, stated that the Ministry of Defense and Aerospace Industry has the experience of working with other foreigner companies including but not limited to the American, European and Afghan. Additionally, he stated that the government of the Kazakhstan is ready to work with the government of Afghanistan in different sectors.

Thus, the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan presented a cultural gift to the Minister of Defense and Aerospace Industry. Both sides Emphasized on sustainable cooperation with each other.
