On 6th November 2018 Mr. Mohammad Farhad Azimi Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan for Republic Kazakhstan met with Mr. Nazarmad Alizada Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Republic of Tajikistan for Republic of Kazakhstan in the Embassy of Republic of Tajikistan.

This meeting was accompanied by the counselor of Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan Mr. Mohammad Hassham Sahad. On the first hand, the Ambassador of Republic of Tajikistan welcomed the Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and wished him the best for his newly appointed diplomatic mission.

On the second hand, the Ambassador of Islamic Republic of Afghanistan thanked from the good faith of his excellency and by emphasizing on mutual relationship of both countries in cultural and friendly aspects, stated that Afghanistan and Tajikistan are as the two brothers who have survived and lived alongside each other in neighborhood in different era. Additionally, Ambassador of Afghanistan mentioned the sustainable support of Afghanistan by Tajikistan during the resistance era and combating with international terrorism meanwhile helping Afghanistan in the rebuilding process.

The Ambassador of Republic of Tajikistan by Emphasizing on the mentioned matters, stated that the security and sustainability in Afghanistan is the security in whole central Asia. Further, while remaindering the peace negotiations of the government of Tajikistan with its oppositions in the past, stated that the inter-Afghan negotiations with the insurgents acting against the government of Afghanistan is a necessary issue to be continued and emphasized that the Afghan government can use from Tajikistan’s practices and experiences on this matter.

Both honored Ambassadors declared their willingness for a mutual co-operation and the meeting came to the end by presenting gift as a cultural practice to the Ambassador of Republic of Tajikistan.
