On 26 November 2018 Mr. Mohammad Farhad Azimi Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan to Republic of Kazakhstan traveled to Karagandy city of Republic Kazakhstan in order to review and discuss the challenges of Afghan students studying in the Karaganda State Technical University.
In this visit, Mr. Ambassador was accompanied by Mr. Khoshhal Farahi the second secretary of the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. First of all they had a visit with the Students in the dormitory of the aforementioned university and discussed with them about their challenges and progress. Further, the issues and problems which were raised by the students was their visa and health insurance, stating that overcoming the expenses of these things are out of their financial capacity.
Later on, the leading board of the University had their own concerns about the problems which the university had faced from the Afghan Students like violating the regulation of the dormitory. For that purpose the Afghan Students with presence of the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan promised to observe and act in accordance with all the regulations, which the University stands for.
At the last, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan had a meeting with the Deputy Chancellor of Karaganda State Technical University Ms. Golnara Zhetesva, discussing about the solutions for the aforementioned problems of the students.
For that purpose Ms. Zhetesva purposed that in case possible the governments must add two more articles in their intergovernmental agreement which should discuss the Visa and Health insurance issues in order to solve these problems permanently.
